Using trending audio is one of the most effective ways to trigger the recommendation algorithms on TikTok and Instagram. When you use a song that is currently "viral," your video is more likely to be shown to users who have previously engaged with that same audio.
How to Spot a Viral Song Before it Peaks
- Check the "Rising" Tab: In the TikTok Creative Center, look for songs marked as "Rising" rather than "Popular." These are the ones about to blow up.
- The 10k-50k Rule: On Instagram, look for audio clips that have between 10,000 and 50,000 uses. This indicates a song is trending but isn't oversaturated yet.
- Save Audio Immediately: When you're scrolling and hear the same song 3 times in 10 minutes, save it instantly and use it within 24-48 hours.
